It is connectingthreads.com. Their prices are great and the fabrics are just wonderful. I have bought quite a bit of fabric from there and just love how it looks and feels. They also have great kits at very reasonable prices.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-29143020364399006632011-03-14T08:52:00.002-07:002011-03-14T08:54:32.236-07:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIncB91zbxI0rK7kiPn4Ngm5isb-Iah_MTyLssTAshMYXL44x7jFMssc3LbFeHf-89b7TLJ9sfaXqrMblVnGtfTOmr6TpRq0RLVjj3gfFQrqynOHJ84DQJk1RZefRKX_krlsujug/s1600/pinup+girl+pc.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 203px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIncB91zbxI0rK7kiPn4Ngm5isb-Iah_MTyLssTAshMYXL44x7jFMssc3LbFeHf-89b7TLJ9sfaXqrMblVnGtfTOmr6TpRq0RLVjj3gfFQrqynOHJ84DQJk1RZefRKX_krlsujug/s320/pinup+girl+pc.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5583964564576780754" /></a><br />I made new pillowcases for me and my husband. I did cut the fabric for the whole quilt and was able to complete 42 of the 78 half square triangles needed. After the HST's the rest of the sewing will go pretty fast I think. I will try to post photos tomorrow after work.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-46918275202891753032010-02-19T13:51:00.000-08:002010-03-26T05:38:48.286-07:00I have been doing laundry and cleaning house today so that I can sew guilt free this evening. I am going to work on a baby quilt. I bought this fabric to make a baby quilt when my sister-in-law was pregnant a few years ago but never even cut into the fabric. The pattern is from Debbie Mumm's <strong><em>Quick Country Quilting</em></strong> book and it will have 6 rabbits on it. Blue, yellow, and green will be the fabric colors. I am hoping to do all of the cutting and as much of the sewing as possible. Tomorrow I will post photos of my progress. Unfortunately I still do not have a good digital camera so I will have to use the one on my phone.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-61823799218726257432010-02-16T06:27:00.000-08:002010-02-16T06:34:39.713-08:00I just joined the <strong><em>Friday Night Sew-In</em></strong> for this upcoming Friday. This just means that this Friday evening I will work on a sewing project and then post photos on Saturday. It is fun to know that so many other people will be participating. I am not sure which project I will work on but it will be a quilting UFO. If you want to join, just click on the button to the right and sign up.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-32552050402186444772009-06-17T15:23:00.000-07:002009-12-30T20:46:02.660-08:00I haven't posted in months. I have done some sewing, but my digital camera broke and I have no way to take photos right now. I am hoping to get a new camera for my birthday in July. I thought I would talk about projects I am currently working on. The first one is a baby quilt for a girl. It is a simple nine patch with plain alternate squares. I bought a really cute dragonfly fabric at JoAnn's and that is serving as the 6" alternate squares and the borders. The 6" nine patch squares are dark pink for the corners and centers with light pink for the other four squares. There will also be smaller nine patches as corners in the border. The second project is a mystery quilt that I am doing along with the Chain-a-spool quilters on yahoo groups. Mine will be scrappy with white on white background and a bright yellow-gold for the accent color. I am also working on a twin-sized scrappy no-peek nine patch quilt as a leader-ender project. I will post photos as soon as I get a new camera.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-18092615962784994392009-01-07T15:39:00.000-08:002009-01-07T15:41:13.338-08:00I can't believe I haven't posted anything on my blog since April. I have been working full time at Target for the last several months and haven't sewn a stitch. My hours have been reduced now that Christmas is over so hopefully I will have some time for sewing. Next week I have four days off and will post some pics.Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-45973581156149288952008-04-20T16:40:00.000-07:002008-12-12T00:07:26.758-08:00<div>These blocks were recei<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiyIVu_ApFzTy2WAmGIBIdc_iJtI4CoEIhSAPlmR0u4pjAO1HPKXvWAiiI7hBCh_oH9R6g8QEgLYFQcIxwBzFZ3yIlrnUdPIDjGcwmxQRuyF6Asn_OELO0uRuu7Lozk6dmP1uYNA/s1600-h/val'sblocks.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191476881487321922" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiyIVu_ApFzTy2WAmGIBIdc_iJtI4CoEIhSAPlmR0u4pjAO1HPKXvWAiiI7hBCh_oH9R6g8QEgLYFQcIxwBzFZ3yIlrnUdPIDjGcwmxQRuyF6Asn_OELO0uRuu7Lozk6dmP1uYNA/s320/val'sblocks.jpg" border="0" /></a><span></span>ved from Val.</div>Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-87301561947268556792008-04-20T16:34:00.000-07:002008-12-12T00:07:27.140-08:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmT0whjoH8iu-qwe_vitvWIRWxUp3VXXczvavsVL_1LDz4yDPQ59Z3e0AM-bMAxTZR0dpi7J-_jw5jeRmqhqwcPxCjMQgyt43AMNx7wAPPvlBle-2xwu7NLoNnlXrnPhKnhBs1ng/s1600-h/april3.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191476305961704242" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmT0whjoH8iu-qwe_vitvWIRWxUp3VXXczvavsVL_1LDz4yDPQ59Z3e0AM-bMAxTZR0dpi7J-_jw5jeRmqhqwcPxCjMQgyt43AMNx7wAPPvlBle-2xwu7NLoNnlXrnPhKnhBs1ng/s320/april3.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5OvX8KAB7q2EaOtZdA0TJC5kpsjrtCFbX4RGTscOTYl60FSklUJ-li3iA1aBAKh9ebKdF-qLmS09NoyiHtpcXjs4n7Ypfgao-UIqicVD9Hr04keBxSIC8-5gWLuCfgvX06zpi8Q/s1600-h/april2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191476207177456418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5OvX8KAB7q2EaOtZdA0TJC5kpsjrtCFbX4RGTscOTYl60FSklUJ-li3iA1aBAKh9ebKdF-qLmS09NoyiHtpcXjs4n7Ypfgao-UIqicVD9Hr04keBxSIC8-5gWLuCfgvX06zpi8Q/s320/april2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPPp8v4ddWsWjqiEL8lIKNYwzFQ3stvduCfbkZjCU7uPbdOtqf2suQrWcxtQUhpUyPUjZSXjKAiOaPrXmsiEroB9qFUca1jI9hP8Dy8szj30eIGjgM7AqB2socz9Y551BvZDAqPA/s1600-h/april1.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5191476125573077778" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPPp8v4ddWsWjqiEL8lIKNYwzFQ3stvduCfbkZjCU7uPbdOtqf2suQrWcxtQUhpUyPUjZSXjKAiOaPrXmsiEroB9qFUca1jI9hP8Dy8szj30eIGjgM7AqB2socz9Y551BvZDAqPA/s320/april1.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div>Here are the three blocks that I made for the March lottery on the yahoo block lottery group. The pattern is called Double Nine Patch and they are 18" square. The fabrics we had to use were white on white background with pastel or spring colors for the nine patches. Guess what? I won the lottery for the month and received seven more of these blocks which makes 10 altogether. Since I won, I got to choose the block pattern for April. I chose the "Baby Bud" 12" block from Quilterscache.com. Any color fabrics can be used.</div></div></div>Stephaniehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06595613265085754528noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23172427.post-16446847174407971532008-03-15T08:44:00.000-07:002008-12-12T00:07:27.556-08:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiidZg5UaAAVctTssosNT2wve0DBo2m1t0RSrR-oqKRmH-_Th_bvU_I0j5uE8F0wGEb1B2qJaH4fna1obhSnvFXK6WlgBIXEdarnBogFinQRJiVAvImzzHkB5bPp2rk3Mw6H-oZVg/s1600-h/yellowbowtie+003.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177995332900271010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiidZg5UaAAVctTssosNT2wve0DBo2m1t0RSrR-oqKRmH-_Th_bvU_I0j5uE8F0wGEb1B2qJaH4fna1obhSnvFXK6WlgBIXEdarnBogFinQRJiVAvImzzHkB5bPp2rk3Mw6H-oZVg/s320/yellowbowtie+003.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFfgFOqStVIE2MpdCpHMte1swH9_xOl2AW4URWvUBArdRtjKGuCAQIllBPUxWw0G9ivVsI0L3adM8O8kUihLHDUEOiBPiOmAcuSi6c3IvPWm4WsZQGQC5jdEC1klFYizOpA5QAVQ/s1600-h/yellowbowtie+002.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5177995337195238322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFfgFOqStVIE2MpdCpHMte1swH9_xOl2AW4URWvUBArdRtjKGuCAQIllBPUxWw0G9ivVsI0L3adM8O8kUihLHDUEOiBPiOmAcuSi6c3IvPWm4WsZQGQC5jdEC1klFYizOpA5QAVQ/s320/yellowbowtie+002.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>DONE!
